Open and Unfold: Cecilia Morris
The restless journey of Open and Unfold takes us through a vista of moments in time...both personal and historical. Consistently we see a refusal to surrender, a trajectory of growth, an honouring of humanity. Morris has an imperative ‘don’t let them sit’, and this will propel the lucky reader through this engaging book, Cecilia’s third collection of poetry. Fine writing and a fearless veracity. Les Wicks. .
Suburban Veneer: Willem Tibben A meditative tone pervades poems that are by turn meditative and narrative. His expressions of curiosity and delight in revelations of the natural world and the vagaries of human behaviour often surprise with the intensity of their insight and verbal invention. William Tibben is one of the most readable poets of our time. Michael Sharkey. Copies are also available at saleswt@belgrovepress.com
To the Spice Islands: Paul Williamson The collection takes the form of a journey. The language is beautiful and thought provoking; observations of nature and the human experience dominate. Williamson also creates images of the sweep of Australian history from British arrival to the present day and displays empathy with the first Australians. Julie Lucas, Polestar. Copies are also available at belgrovepress@gmail.com
